CED Returns Policy

This Refund Policy is solely applicable to products supplied by Chicago Electronic Distributors for use with SystronicsRF Home Automation Control System in accordance with the CED Terms & Conditions of Sale for SRF Products.

This document takes precedence over all other documents relating to the return and refund of the product for use with the SRF Home Automation Control System, save for the CED Terms & Conditions of Sale for SRF Products, which takes precedence.

1. DEFINITIONS

In this Refund Policy, the following terms are used: -
"CED" means Chicago Electronic Distributors 
"SRF" means SystronicsRF Limited 

2. WARRANTY RETURNS

You may request the return of a product to CED by email at any time within 12 months from date of purchase in accordance with the warranty provision stated in the CED Terms & Conditions of Sale for SRF Products.  

Subject to proof of purchase by you, CED will provide prepaid postage for the return of the item.

Once your return is received and inspected, CED will send you an email to notify you that CED has received your returned item.

The product must be in the same condition that it was received by you, and the warranty seal must not have been broken.  The product must be returned in its original packaging.  
Otherwise, the warranty on the product is invalidated.

Any faulty product that is returned within 30 days of its purchase will be replaced and returned free of charge.  

Otherwise, CED reserves the right to repair, rather than replace, any faulty product that is returned within the warranty period, and return it free of charge.

If the product is returned within 30 days of its purchase, and is found not to be faulty, then you will be given the option of treating it as a normal unwanted product return, or being charged for the fault diagnostics and the postage costs.

3. UNWANTED PRODUCT RETURNS

If you return the product within 30 days of its purchase, provide proof of purchase, and its warranty has not been invalidated, then CED will refund the purchase price, and a 10% restocking fee.  The product must be returned to CED at your cost.

Once your return is received and inspected, CED will send you an email to notify you that CED has received your returned item.

The product must be in the same condition that it was received by the purchaser, and the warranty seal must not have been broken.  The product must be returned in its original packaging.  

4. REFUNDS

CED will also notify you of the extent of any refund.  Refunds will be paid by the original method of payment within 30 days of this notification.
